Smart Google Calendar Sync
Two revolutionary ways to connect your schedule: • Event-Based Alarms: Link an alarm to events like "Flight" or "On Call". You set the exact lead time you need (45 min, 2 h, 3 h...) and if the event changes time in your calendar, Aion automatically recalculates the trigger in the background. • Exception Rules for your regular alarm: Do you go off Monday to Friday at 07:00? Add a rule with the keyword "Holiday" or "Vacation". If Aion detects that event, the alarm is automatically cancelled or rescheduled so you can sleep without interruptions.
Internal Rules Engine & Perpetual Shifts
Maximum versatility without relying on external calendars. Schedule alarms by specific days of the month (e.g. 1st and 15th), specific months of the year, one-off exception dates or complex rotating shifts (1-3 rotations, alternating weeks). You set the logic once and Aion runs it in perpetuity.

Visual Friction (Ads)
When snoozing, stopping, or both at once: you must watch a mandatory ad to proceed. You'll wake up out of sheer frustration while supporting the project.
Physical Friction (QR/Barcode)
Force yourself out of bed to the bathroom or kitchen to scan a barcode or QR code in your home (e.g. toothpaste, coffee) to silence the phone.
Wear OS Watch & Home Screen Widgets
Carry Aion on your wrist and launcher. Real-time sync with Wear OS smartwatches (trigger the alarm on the phone, the watch, or both) and a new interactive Widget for your home screen with one-tap shift skip.

💻 AI as an engineering tool
During Aion's development, we've used AI models exclusively as programming assistants ("Pair Programming"). Their use has been limited to solving complex mathematical logic problems (like the shift calculation engine), optimizing code architecture (Kotlin, Coroutines), and generating automated test suites to guarantee a bug-free app.
🎨 Zero artificial graphic generation
We are strongly against using AI to replace human creative work. Aion's logo, visual identity, and all our original branding material have been created from scratch by people. We don't use AI image generators anywhere in the project, thus respecting the effort, talent, and intellectual property of real artists and creators.
🛡️ Safe and limited assistant
Our Aion Assistant operates under strict rules to prevent "hallucinations". It's programmed to be a technical expert on the app, it will never read your personal data to train itself, and it will clearly warn you about its limitations.
